Alex Markels – 7 string guitar
James Moseley – 6 string
James & Alex have arranged a bunch of great jazz tunes by Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, Benny Golson , Sonny Rollins & others for jazz guitar duets.
They both have busy gig schedules on other projects—but are constantly adding tunes to their duet repertoire and generally play out in the Bay Area once or twice a month. James sings a few too—always a treat!
A few of the tunes: Song for My Father, Well You Needn’t, I let a Song out of My Heart, Along Came Betty, Eronel, Groove Yard, Strollin’
