Salzman has had the opportunity to work closely with many celebrated musicians and songwriters during her career, including Mike Marshall, Tony Flores, Pete Escovedo, and many others. From coast to coast, she’s performed at notable venues like SOB’s and Joe’s Pub in New York City, the Brooklyn Museum, Yoshi’s San Francisco, the Shattuck Down Low in Berkeley, and others.
Now based in Oakland, Dana Salzman does all her own production, writing, and arranging. In addition to being an in-demand piano and voice teacher, she has released three acclaimed solo albums: It’s Out of Your Hands (2007), Rising (2010), and Deep Down (2014).
